Hartz®
The Hartz® brand has been offering effective and safe products to owners of dogs, cats, birds, small animals and fish for 78 years. We just relaunched our core brand in 2004 with newly designed packaging to help make your shopping experience as simple as possible.

Harper's® Pet Products
The Harper’s® Pet Products brand has been providing dogs with premium rawhide products for more than 50 years. Harper’s® Pet Products is most well-known for its American beefhide products sold under the American Beefhide™ and Heartland’s Prime™ brands. American Beefhide™ is a thick, flavorful rawhide that gives dogs a longer, more satisfying treat. Harper’s® Pet Products also offer Dental Chews®, Fun Bone™, Dual Delights™ and Crunchy Rawhide™.
VMX PetVantage™
Sold exclusively in pet specialty stores, VMX PetVantage™ offers innovative new products, along with superior quality, technology and design for the best care for dogs and cats. A full line of products are available under the following sub-brands to help meet the unique needs of pet owners looking for specialized products to enhance their pet’s well-being:

Wardley®
Wardley® is America's largest domestically manufactured line of aquatic fish foods and remedies. What was established in 1950 as a distributor of various aquarium and pet products is now the predominant brand of aquatics products within The Hartz Mountain Corporation.
The brand has built a loyal following among both tropical fish enthusiasts and breeders in the more than 50 years since its founding. Wardley® offers a broad range of more than 200 formulations addressing the special needs of serious aquatic hobbyists, as well as the needs of the family with a single-fish bowl.
Wardley® provides a full range of nutritional foods for goldfish, betta fish, tropical fish, pond fish and marine fish. These foods offer a variety of formats (flakes, pellets, crumbles or sticks) with specially designed formulations that provide superior levels of nutrition and vitamins that result in enhanced coloring and vitality of fish. Wardley® also offers a selection of test kits, water conditioners and remedies needed to keep your aquatic habitat stable and clean and fish healthy.
Whether you have a goldfish or betta fish in a small bowl at home, or a large community aquarium or pond, there's a Wardley® product for you. Most can be found at grocery, drug and discount outlets, as well as pet specialty chains and neighborhood stores. Some of the more sophisticated Wardley® items designed for the hobbyist are distributed exclusively through the pet specialty outlets.
Wardley® was one of 17 manufacturers that established the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, one of the most outstanding and successful trade associations serving the pet industry. Wardley® was also instrumental in the formation of the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (PIJAC).
LM ANIMAL FARMS™
Sold exclusively through pet superstores and neighborhood pet stores, LM ANIMAL FARMS™ provides high quality, farm fresh products to enhance the well-being of birds and small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and ferrets.
The LM ANIMAL FARMS™ business started at an Ohio Dairy Farm in 1971. Understanding the need for quality products for their own animals and family pets, the farm's owners began formulating outstanding food and bedding products.
Quality and freshness are the cornerstones of LM ANIMAL FARMS™ products. Today, LM ANIMAL FARMS™ provides three lines of main meal bird and small animal diets: Classic™, Vita Vittles™ and Bonanza™, each providing a different mix of nutritious grains, fruits and vitamins. LM ANIMAL FARMS™ has also recently introduced a line of human-quality healthy snacks including Yogurt Soy Nut Surprise™, Trail Mixes and exotic-flavored seed sticks.
LM ANIMAL FARMS™ boasts the cleanest manufacturing standards on the market. With a manufacturing plant adjacent to farmland, only the freshest seeds and ingredients are used, enabling our products to deliver their ultimate nutrient value. All of our seeds are inspected at the time they are received, and if our high standards are not met, they are not used. If a seed passes inspection, a three phase cleansing process is utilized to ensure consistent quality.
Top quality, frequently changed bedding is also critical for a healthy, pleasant living environment. LM ANIMAL FARMS™ provides a variety of bedding types, from red cedar to ponderosa pine to chlorophyll pine. These products are of the highest quality due to our screening, drying and filtering processes that remove dust, foreign particles and maintain a dry uniform consistency.
Beyond nutrition and bedding products, LM ANIMAL FARMS™ provides numerous other products to enhance the physical and emotional health of birds and small animals including cage accessories, feeding appliances and mineral blocks. Many of these bird products are developed right at our bird sanctuary next to the farm in Ohio.
Nature's Gold®
Nature's Gold® is a sister brand to LM ANIMAL FARMS™, having its origins on the same dairy farm in Ohio and adhering to the same quality processes and standards. Nature's Gold® products are available at some of the larger grocery and discount chains in the country, such as Kroger, Albertson's, K-Mart and Wal-Mart.
