Delta Society
The Delta Society is an international, non-profit organization that provides Animal Assisted Therapy to those in health care facilities and Animal Assisted Therapies such as using animals to help children learn to read. Through its Pet Partners program, Delta Society provides opportunities for motivational, educational, recreational, and/or therapeutic benefits to enhance quality of life. Delta's services are delivered in a variety of environments by specially trained professionals, paraprofessionals, and/or volunteers, in association with animals that meet specific criteria." Hartz is a Gold Cane sponsor of the Delta Society and is currently engaged in a promotional program which will raise up to $150,000 to support their initiatives.
