Meet a few of our experts.
Georgette Wilson, DVM, is the director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, and resident veterinarian at Hartz. She holds a doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine and a BA in Biology from The University of Pennsylvania. She completed a small animal internship at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Wilson spent 10 years in private practice before transitioning to a career in veterinary pharmaceuticals. She has appeared on local and national television, on the radio, and in print.
Lance Hemsarth, is senior director of Research & Development and Regulatory Affairs. With a master’s degree in entomology from Rutgers University and a focus on pesticide chemistry, he leads a group of nine scientists and three regulatory affairs specialists. He also heads up new product development, including formula development, package specification and testing, as well as formula stability, safety and performance testing, process development, and new technology exploration and development.
