Strut Your Mutt NYC

To benefit homeless pets

The first annual 'Strut Your Mutt New York City' to raise money for the Best Friends Animal Societies’ No More Homeless Pets® initiative, took place on Manhattan’s west side on September 26, 2010. Team Hartz met at 8am and marched the 1.8 mile walk along Hudson River Park led by Captain Lisa Monahan and Bosco the chihuahua in a little over an hour.

Team Hartz raised over $900 for this great cause. The walk ended at Hudson River Park where the dogs enjoyed yoga, massages, belly rubs, toys from Petco and plenty of treat and biscuit samples from local boutiques. The New York event raised over $130,000 which will go to Best Friends Network Charities and to Best Friends local programs in New York that support their mission of No More Homeless Pets®.
